Spring 2026 Charity Basketball Tournament
BALL FOR DREAMS hosted a 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Hong Kong International School’s Dragon Center for Activities & Athletics to raise awareness and funds for financial literacy initiatives supporting migrant workers in Hong Kong.
The event brought together student teams, community members, and local supporters through a structured tournament format designed to combine sport, engagement, and social impact.
The tournament successfully raised HK$15,673 (US$2000) to fund 156 financial counseling courses.
PAST WORK
American Club Foundation
In 2025, BALL FOR DREAMS received a grant of HK$8,000 (US$1,021) from the American Club Foundation’s Change Maker Award to support its upcoming initiatives.
Funding Round 1
In late 2024, BALL FOR DREAMS raised HKD 30,000 (US$3,829) to provide school supplies for children at the Po Leung Kuk Orphanage. Over 40 donors and 40 participants supported the initiative during our funding round.
This effort reflects our commitment to mobilizing community support and translating engagement into tangible, measurable outcomes.
