About

BALL FOR DREAMS is a social impact initiative that uses basketball to drive positive change. We fund financial literacy programs for migrant workers in Hong Kong while empowering self-advocacy in underprivileged youth through pro bono basketball training. Our work is rooted in the belief that basketball and social media can rally changemakers worldwide and uplift these two marginalized communities.

Delivering Financial Counseling Courses Through Enrich HK

We raise funds to support Enrich HK, a charity that provides confidential financial counseling courses and workshops for migrant workers in Hong Kong who face financial crises. The funds we donate directly support these programs.

Journey

BALL FOR DREAMS began as a basketball academy providing pro bono training to marginalized children at the Po Leung Kuk Orphanage.

As we broadened our perspective on social issues, we identified glaring deficiencies in financial literacy among migrant workers in Hong Kong, who make up 10% of the city's workforce.

Today, we raise funds for migrant workers’ financial counseling courses through social media basketball challenges and tournaments, while still providing our pro bono youth basketball classes.
